Nodaway County health officials confirm 8 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed eight more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 1067, with 61 probable cases.

Health officials say there are currently 151 active cases. Northwest Missouri State University says 36 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees.

Health officials add that there are current six hospitalizations. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
